phil, pics of the intake are on page 2 and bob did those for me. pics of the car, well, back to the digital camera. too much technology for me. maybe somebody at cecil will post some if it doesnt fall on its face.
but it does sound good. not as loud as with the t/a intake. that maybe good, maybe bad. it rain here all day so we couldnt play in the driveway. BUT, tomorrow is another day![]()

John,
This is starting to look very promising. Do you have a benchmark with the old combo on the car? I'm hoping it will make a good showing at Cecil.
Did you happen to make more than one set of the adapter plates or make a blueprint?
Did I just ask a really dumb question to a former machinist?![]()
I'm just a little excited.
Good job!!!![]()

went 11.88 @ 112.5 at lebanon valley. only 12 passes in the last 2 yrs. but, the closer to cecil the faster it will go.

my head was spinning the first time doing the plates. 11 yrs out of machining and i have to think all over again. b/p's......yeah, paper towel and kentucky windage![]()
but i dont if i will make them like the first time. gotta figure out what is easier.

and friday is a full moon. all sorts of strange things can happen![]()
when john was playing in the driveway, which has no traction, he was on the wheelie bars. nice to see those little wheels spinning like crazy when he stopped![]()

You tell John there is a small block nation that is expecting FULL concentration for this next "test" session. We're gonna need him on his game to get some good baseline info. NO driver errors. Theres a new learning curve thats gonna be shot at you. Ready to yank plugs ? Got an extra set ? Jets too ? All the tools ? Timing light ? Is this sounding like a lecture yet ???
In fact, ya know what you need man, a rear wheel dyno. You coulda been done with the testing by now. How hard would the Mrs have smacked ya around for THAT check missing outa the book ?
HAHAHA. Have fun and let us know how it goes. We're waitinggggggggggggggg...........................

now, there is a good one. driver on his game plan...hahahaha...i wish
as far as playing with the car at the track. jets....don't those belong in the sky....check the air, water, oil.
i'm really not into all that messing around with it at the track. if anybody wants to play with it within reason, thats ok. but we dont go out of our way.
the kid drives and we have a good time. if it breaks, we load it on the trailer and go party or go home.

That is probably the smartest thing you could do. HAVE FUN!Originally Posted by gsjohnny
