talked the head manufacturing/production man at edelbrock about the possibility of buying semi-finished mopar victor intakes. said no problem, how many ? yikes, i was taken aback with the answer. really left me stuttering in my mind. what do i say now....ok, one. dont think that was the right answer.
but, i told him about the closeness between the sbm victor and the sbb 350. gave him my name , ph and email. he is going to talk to some people. will till he gets back to me.
andrea says who were you talkng to. said edelbrock and proceeded to tell her what i was up to. ........and then she starts asking me about how much this is and what do you got to do, etc about the intake. asks are you going to be making more of them? another left me stuttering in my mind. sheesh.
back to the intakes.....if we can buy them shrunk down(length), unfinished(hopefully discounted) with 90 degree included flanges, making(gonna try a different way) the adapter plates will be a piece of chocolate. the only thing left would be the stat hsng.
they sell the intakes at 300 now. if they were say 200, they could possibly be built under 500. how much under i dont know and it would a bolt together manifold. this is all dream land, but everybody likes to dream.
spread the word. i need some input from EVERYBODY.![]()

. Your gonna have to decide between one or the other. I just dont think your gonna be able to have that real fast 350" and still have it streetable. 13's and maybe some 12's though, yea, do-able. But you won't see the 11's as easiely with a 350" in a driver like a 455".
But if you want to put like maybe a stg. 2 scoop on it and make some room for a taller intake.....
. Time will tell and it's only a couiple days away.
...of course once its had a few shake-down runs
as usual

. If John tells you no, just threaten to have me smack him around some
. Don't make me buy a plane ticket, I ain't skeert' John, I'll do it...............
