I installed a plug-in last night that really effected the performance of the site. I uninstalled it this afternoon, and installed a different one to do the same job. It runs well, now.

I'm working on a banner ad randomizer to put vendor ads at the bottom of each page on the forums. I only have my parts directory and the BPG nats banner there right now, but we hope to get some other vendors to hop on the gravy train. It will help offset the cost of the website and forums.

might slow down the thread notifications... I notice they are instant. this may be somewhat parasitic to the server. might help... just a thought.
