Today I installed an 8-10 ohm replacement speaker in my 70. In this day and age, it a RARE occurance that any product is exactly what the supplier says it is.
In my opinion, this speaker is exceptional. It fit perfectly and the workmanship is superb. As advertised, the OEM bracket needs to be modified (ends bent closer together) in order to grab the speaker.
The shape of the speaker is great and the covering and seals matched to the dash great. There was even double stick tape on it so that the bracket adhered to the speaker. Even wire clips (color coded no less) were included so that the original wires/connector could be used. Clip them off the old speaker, attach the clips and hook them to the new one. No soldering.
The sound is great and that is with an AM radio. I can only imagine how much better it would sound with FM. But, that is a whole different story.
All I can say, is that if anyone is looking for a front speaker (they have rears too) for a 68-72 "A" body I recommend this 100%.
