1972 Skylark Custom Convertible FS

I have seen the car and it is in good condition. The reconditioning was completed in 2004 and the car has been driven occasionally since then. Price: $10,500.00
The car has a 350 4 engine that has been rebuilt (not sure of origin) I.e. did not check numbers, and appears to run good. It has (operating) electric windows disc brakes (front), A/C (needs charge), glass rear window, operating factory gauges, and 14” aluminum aftermarket wheels.
The paint work is driver condition, no major defects, but of average condition. There has been repair work to the lower quarters and lower fenders. The core support has also been repaired on both sides.
The upholstery was new in 2004 and is in very good condition. No sure of the manufacturer.
The top was also new in 2004...unknown manufacturer.
The carpet was new in 2004.
New weather strips.
New exhaust.
The car is affectionately known as Maybelline, and has been embroidered in the headrests.
Glass is original and appears in good condition.
Bumpers have been re-chromed…average job.
The trunk pan appears to have been solid and no repair work performed.
Main floor pans appear to be solid.
The headlight bezels where painted, and have some pits. Some of the smaller exterior chrome trim parts are pitted and should be replaced.
The car has a ralleye steering wheel in good condition…horn pad in OK condition. The steering column at the base of the steering wheel is loose and needs repair, although it currently is functioning.
The dash pad has been covered and extra padding added.
The washer switch is loose and was secured by a screw.
No radio.
Please do not rely on this description to purchase the car. I’m only relaying what I observed and my description may differ from others.
Their appears to be the number 256 on the driver’s side deck between the 1 and 3.
