1970 GS 350 four speed Z code, California car

I'm done, getting out of the car hobby. Regret I must sell my 1970 GS 350 four speed coupe. I really wanted to keep this car but I am done.

Fremont CA built, very solid body, A/C, PS,tilt steering, sherwood green w/black painted roof, and a green interior. Trim tag reads pnt code 48 G trim code 170, it was a bench seat column shifted automatic, but I converted it to four speed bucket seat & tilt column using all the correct GM parts.

Freshly rebuilt motor, new TA flywheel, Borg-Warner clutch kit. The bucket seats are 70 GS black buckets, not green, but correct GS waffle grain seats. It needs paint, carpet, tires, etc, and other misc to finish. It has a fresh quadshop carb now.

Please re-consider getting out. Maybe just take a few weeks off from the garage, and especially the computer, but don't sell everything. You will probably be sorry. If/when you want to get back in it, the parts and cars will be more expensive. If you want to vent, we are all ready and willing to listen. Is it a mechanical problem, parts vendor, or another board member that has you upset?

It was great to see you at the GS Nationals. I hope you can make it to Columbus with your car since there will hopefully be several others from Mark's shop there as well!!

Car now has a black painted roof. I removed the vinyl and I like what I saw, I found factory paint below the rear window where I had expected to find rust out. I also got the car running better and did some clean up. Car is still for sale, but I dont care if I sell it or not.

Henry, I'm amazed this car has not sold yet. The 4spd is certainly a temptation. Unfortunately I have no place for a 2nd toy and don't really want to sell my 68. I am curious of one thing though, I see a Skylark emblem on the door panel in one pic, is this a GS or a Skylark?
