A true manual choke.

So I finally got a choke installed I can deal with. I hate to stock qjet choke.
All that choke stuff n fast idle junk on that side is wired not to move.
[It don’t effect anything but stop the choke from closing / wired open]

Well it gotten colder and it don’t like starting with no choke.
But I don’t like how the kit hooked up using the stock big black thing / choke spring housing.
Cause you still gotta deal with that fast idle that you gotta member to blip the gas to shut off so you can close or fully open the choke. I forget and bend the linkage trying to jam it shut.

So I first mocked things up on my old carb to se if it would work.
Put the cable bracket on the back carb bolt.
Then pulled the screw for the choke linkage tab, then flipped the tab over which put things in proper alignment.
The linkage bar is just pushed aside and doesn’t get in the way of the movement.
[It can just wiggle around in it hole.]
Put red locktite on everything. Don’t need any tiny screws coming off into engine.
But now it’s a true manual choke. Works great. Did hafta trim some on the air cleaner cover but not allot and it worked out better then I thought.
