IT'S TIME!!! Hood latch and other parts re-plating time is here.......

Hi,

OK, I talked with the guy at the plating plant and we're a go again this year.

All hood latches will be dipped, stripped, blasted, have the common stress crack fixed if possible, re-plated and shipped back to you. You will be sent back the one that you send me. So if yours is all bent up and pitted, that's what you'll get back. It'll just be prettier.

Prices will stay the same as last year I believe. Soooo, if you want your hood latch just re-plated, the price will be $43 shipped back to you. You will need to remove your springs prior to shipping to me. If you want the 3 new springs installed, price will be $53 shipped back to you. All of these prices are for the continental US. If you live in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, or overseas, I'll gladly still do it, but PM me because I'll need to adjust the price for the extra shipping charges.

I need to get all the parts by Thanksgiving so that I can get them back to everyone before Christmas.

Please, please, please, include a return address inside the box. I can't tell you how many times I've been left to figure out who sent me what and where it's going back to. Also, if you could let me know what year hood latch it is. I already have springs for 68-72 hood latches. I should have the springs for the 64-67 hood latches by next week.

Phil, What other parts are plated the same as the hood latch? My car is all apart and I would be interested in maybe sending a bunch of stuff.

I'm not sure on a 1973. I know on most it was the disc brake brackets, the manual shift rods, brake booster, master cylinder cover. I have been having guys send in their door hinges, trunk locks, and misc. bolts.
