There you go,Doug. You can buy that one, race it on the street and keep your other GS for the strip. Wonder who owns that GS?

I heard about the car several years ago from John Zerucha. Seems the car came from his neck of the woods out in Ohio. He sent me pictures and said the guy who bought was from a town in NJ called Clinton or Clifton or something like that. Clinton is a hour from me, but Clifton is the town next door to mine.
I finally saw the car a few years ago at an Old Time Drags day at Island Dragway here in Jersey. I went over and talked to the guy, looked his car over, and showed him my car as well. He said he'd heard about my car from other people who saw his and thought it was mine when they spoke to him. He was running a Chevy motor and was a little startled when he asked how fast my car runs and I told him. He found it hard to believe a Buick motor ran that fast, even though he had run a Buick motor earlier on. He said he'd been in the "Buick Club" for a while, but I don't know what he meant by that. I don't remember him being in the Northeast club, maybe he meant the GSCA. I think it was before the BPG was formed.
The car had a few touches that I liked, but overall, mine's better.
