Member Numbers

This may sound silly. I'm member #1278. Most people may aspire to a lower number, but I'd like to be the first to ask to be member #1970. I see that that person has allowed his membership to lapse.

I think it would be great if we could pick a cool number that suits us, if the member assigned to it in sequence is not using it anymore.

I'd be willing to pay some sort of small re-numbering fee if that would make it worthwhile.

Yea it's probably assigned allready. I got mine last year and it's 1991.

I wish it was just as easy as changing a number. The problem lies in the accounting side of the database wherein each payment made is listed and tied to the member and their number that was assigned by the program. They are assigned in order that they are received and the monies are then tied to that account number.

I like my # even though I don't know what it is without looking it up.
