1st Annual BPG National Hotel Information
PLEASE NOTE: This thread is NOT for the 2007 National event. This is the information for the last 3 years in Salem, OH. The 2007 national will be held at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH on August 3-5, 2007.
The following are the hotel listings. The BPG had rooms blocked off and these are the rates that were given to us. BPG does not have any financial liability for the blocked rooms. All rooms will be billed individually to the guest at booking. The block contracts requested by the motels do not require financial guarantees.
Soon to follow will be the on-line application form and all information will also be in the Build Sheet. We hope to see you all there. Any question or problems please post here or PM any one of the Board members.
ALL ROOMS ARE BOOKED UNDER BPG OR BUICK PERFORMANCE GROUP. Mention the Buick Performance Group to obtain these rates.
Also Take Note: All rates do not include taxes. Taxes are 13%.

15 large doubles - smoking - same rate
3 King - non smoking - (Wed/Thur/Sun - 65.99) (Fri/Sat - 76.99)

The above listed rates are for double occupancy. Deduct $6 for single.
We will be able to tailgate till 11:00 PM. Burnouts are controlled by the local police (they frown on it). The RRI has a large parking lot. There is also a large parking lot across from the motel owned by Clear Channel that we will be able to use. Security by us. The small room (10 person conference room) off the lobby entrance is ours to use as a welcome room to pass out registration packets, etc. We can post banners on the lobby entrance and outside front door.
The rooms not booked by 7/11/04 will be given back to the Red Roof Inn.

All motels are within walking distance of each other. This group of motels is centered around such restaurants as TGIF, Outback, Chili's, Springfield Grille, Chi Chi's, Longhorn, Lone Star, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster, and the other standard restaurant chains. The shopping center is two blocks away. The A&W restaurant (Friday night cruise night) is 1 miles away. Chili's has the Saturday night cruise.
The track is 15 miles away. It will take 20 minutes using the back roads. We will have to have generate a map of the area and make up several direction signs at key intersections. No one should get lost.
Other motels (2 miles from our cluster) in the area (Rt 7 and turnpike) that I did not approach for blocked rooms.
