My problem is this my 72 gs 455 convertible has 3:55 gears in the rear. Now this is great for the dragstrip I've been able to run 13.44 with a possitive traction diff thats not working(another problem). I enjoy going to the strip but I only go several times a year. Other times it hard to go crusing because of the excessive rpms. I've thought of several things that I coulde do 1-get a Gear Venders over drive(expenceive) 2 either go with a 200r4 or 700r4 transmission. I need some information about what all needs to be done with the drive shaft & yokes. & linkage.

Any advise and where is the best place to go ect would be a great help.
