Looking for 70-72 GS hood

Just bought a 71 Skylark to restore with my son, and we are wanting to clone a GS/GSX. We are looking for a GS hood. What is a fair price for these? I just missed scoring one for $150 which seemed very reasonable, and I found another but the price seems steep at $900.

Price will depend some on which year hood you buy, condition,and your location, timing, etc. I have one 1970 hood which needs some rust repair, I could sell it for $300.00 picked up in the DC area. I am not able to ship it though. That is a bare hood which needs work. I would expect to pay at least $700 to $1000 for a nice hood complete with all trim & scoop plates. The 70 hoods bring a premium as they dont have the cut out for the pop-up spring.

Thanks for the responses, I told my son Joe that we would find a bunch new friends, and that most "car people" are great. I have a 215 powered MGB as well, but at over 6 foot Joe thinks he is too tall for a MG. We live in Canfield Ohio, near Youngstown.
